My Beloved Country
I am Obed. Indonesia is my beloved country. It has five big islands and many small islands. The big five islands are Java, Sumatra, Kalimantan, Sulawesi and Papua. All islands in Indonesia have beautiful nature. The mountains, the hills, the beaches, the rivers, and the animals are marvellous. The highest mountain is Jayawijaya Mountain in Papua. A giant statue of Jesus Christ is on Buntu Burake hill in Sulawesi. The Pangandaran Beach in West Java is a great place to watch the sinking sun. The longest river is Kapuas River in Kalimantan. Sumatran Elephants dwell in West Sumatra. Komodo Dragons are seen mostly in the islands of Komodo. Many gorgeous horses can be found in Sumba Island. I am proud to be an Indonesian.
