Garuda Pancasila
I am Butet. I am a Kindergarten student. Our teacher, Ms. Carol, teaches us everyday. Today, we learn about Indonesia’s emblem; Garuda Pancasila. It is one of the keys to unify our nation. The golden colour covers the head, the neck, the wings, the legs and the tail. There is a shield under the neck. It has five pictures on it. They are star, chain, banyan tree, bull, rice and cotton. It grips a ribbon that reads “Bhinneka Tunggal Ika” which is a national motto of Indonesia that means Unity in Diversity.
